About Ursa Major Astrology
My path into astrology began through a long-standing interest in tarot and divination. Several years ago, I began studying tarot more seriously and quickly realised that the cards themselves were only the surface of a much deeper body of knowledge. The symbolism of the Rider–Waite–Smith and Thoth tarot decks is rooted in a wide range of esoteric traditions including Hermetic philosophy, astrology, Kabbalah and alchemy.
As I followed those threads further, one system appeared again and again behind the scenes of tarot symbolism: astrology.
What began as an attempt to understand tarot more deeply soon turned into a full immersion in astrology itself. Studying planetary cycles, traditional techniques and the structure of the birth chart revealed something extraordinary. Astrology is not simply symbolic language or psychological reflection. When practised properly, it is a remarkably precise system for understanding the patterns that shape our lives.
In the past year of working seriously with astrology, I have experienced some of the most striking and accurate predictions of my life. Time and again the movement of the planets describes real events and turning points with uncanny clarity.
Astrology often feels like the source code of the universe. The positions of the planets at the moment of birth create a unique imprint that describes temperament, potential and the major chapters of a life.
Your birth chart is a map of that imprint. By learning how to read it properly, astrology offers a powerful framework for understanding who you are, where you are in your life story and what cycles are unfolding next.
Tarot remains part of my practice and can be a useful tool for exploring specific questions in the present moment. But astrology provides the deeper structure behind the symbols and the broader timing of events.
